MVTF is starting week three and is already moving fast! Here is some short attention span writing and updates:
- Wednesday, February 15 is the 2023 Track and Field parents meeting! Starts at 6:55pm, in the cafeteria/student union. (In person after years of Zoom!)
- Thursday, February 16 will be the 400 Shootout! Here is what the top heat of the Shootout looks like from the sky.
- Monta Vista has an academic break starting Saturday the 18th. But, but…look ahead and there is the first dual meet of the season on March 1 as MVTF hosts MVTF (Mt. View Track and Field), and then on Saturday we have the RustBuster! DON’T take winter break as an athletic break. Keep training! You will be glad you did when you are on the line against the Mt. View Spartans on March 1.

This is a great team…let’s keep the momentum going…when we get back, MV v MV is a fun meet–let’s aim for that day!
(Note for the seniors…coach has his college application submitted also. And the UPenn College of Liberal and Professional Studies does not have a firm date for releasing their masters program acceptances–they start rolling admissions in March. So I’m sweating out admissions news with you, too!)
