Clovis Invitational is a very, very fun meet…top teams from around the State will be there. Teams that have championship aspirations will often attend, because Clovis is held on the same course as the California State Championships…so this is a chance for athletes at all levels to experience what a championship meet is like!
FUHSD is not allowing us to stay overnight, so we are going to day-trip. Overnight trips are fun but it’s just not to be this year! Instead we will get up early, stumble onto our bus in the dark, and drive to Fresno…race!…and then return back home (with a stop for pizza along the way back to Monta Vista, of course). This should be a long, but memorable, day!
The cost per student will be $75, which will include the bus ride, entry fee, and pizza on the way home. Please bring a check to Coach Flatow made out to Monta Vista ASB (please note that the payment should be Monta Vista ASB!!!)
It is going to be great to be back at the Woodward Park course!
