Thank you to everyone who joined me today for our session! Attached is a copy of the slides I used.

I believe, and the science supports me on this, that when we can be more conscious of what we have to be grateful for, our lives are happier. We are more aware of the good things in our life, and the opportunities and the friends and connections we have. Being aware of what is going well in our lives does not mean that we have to be blind to problems or to ignore unfairness. But usually there are some good things in our life that are worth contemplating, and the resulting happiness and positive feelings can help us address the problems.

These are good things to talk about with our friends. We can be more deliberate with our gratitude, and we can make gratitude a habit. Science has told us that gratitude will make us happier.
