It was great seeing all of you crammed into the Leadership Room at lunchtime today!  One thing is for sure–we have outgrown that space, we need a bigger place to meet–such as the TRACK!

Some of you asked about pre-season activities:

Rhea Choudhury has put together a student-led group that is training after school–this is a good group for people planning on sprints, hurdles or jumps, and is going to be supported by advice from Coach David Pride–he is coming to meet with Rhea and the group next week.

Coach Arness is holding weight lifting sessions three days a week; these sessions are focused on the throws however this is good weight training for any event (Coach is a certified USA weightlifting coach and he really knows his stuff).  If you want more information, talk to Sanjna Bharadwaj or email Coach Arness at aaarness@hotmail.com.

Hurdlers should talk to Nicole Phan or Victoria Ngo and get the scoop on what they are doing with Coach Ray.

And for distance runners, go find Maddy or Rohan and they can hook you up.
