Track Zoom Meeting April 6/Tuesday Night

MVTF is just about ready to have our first practice!  Here are some key updates for athletes looking to get ready for the season and our first practice:

  1. There will be a short Zoom call at 7pm on Tuesday, April 6 to go through some basic issues and expectations for this odd pandemic season.  The zoom link is at the bottom of this post.
  2. Attached as a download is the current best cut at the season schedule.  Schedules are always tentative…and especially during a pandemic.  Athletes need to pay attention to schedule changes–there will be changes!  And note that for the first few weeks, practice times and locations will be changing depending upon facility availability.
  3. This season is NOT going to be normal.  The schedule form includes some of the things that will be different–please read this all carefully!
  4. If you plan to join track, but you are still part of a Season 2 sport (football, soccer, field hockey…), we want you to fill out this form so we know you are coming.
  5. Athletes need to be cleared to join practice.  The list of cleared athletes is below.  Here is how to get cleared–your coaches may not clear you, you need to take care of this with our trainer or AD.
  6. Your parents also need to fill out this release before your first practice–this is required!

This is going to be be a short and odd season, but with all our support and positive attitudes we are going to make this as good as we can!  See you on zoom and then at practice as we get rolling.
