Due to the heat, the meet will be run on a compressed schedule. Here is the new order of events. Remember be at the start no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled gun, ready to run, with bib and singlet (probably ditch your jacket and pants in our camp it will be hot so won’t need them and they would be another thing to get in the way I fear).

Lagoon Valley is just a few days away! Just like last year, LV is going to be the first invitational of the season, just like last year. It’s a good race! LV has some challenging hills, like a good cross country course should, and has the dirt paths we look for in California. This will be our third visit, after 2021 and 2019. Lagoon Valley is a winner of a meet!

If you are taking the team bus, please be at the school at 5:00am. The bus leaves at 5:15am sharp and if you miss the bus, your parents will need to drive you. The bus is optional, you may have your parents drive you to the race–that’s fine!–but please be at the course early so you can warm up with your group properly–no later than 8:30am, so you can cheer for your teammates in the first race.
If you are taking the bus, please take a COVID rapid test on Friday night. Free test kits will be provided to everyone. Let’s all do our part and do our best to keep our team healthy!
