Monta Vista Track & Field will be sending 13 athletes to Los Gatos High School for the 45th Annual CCS Top 8 Invitational on Saturday, April 17th! This is a really great meet with the best competition that most kids will see all year. It’s a great opportunity to dig deep and hit PRs. Below is our entry information and the scheduled starts for each participant. This information should not change at this point as all entries and scratches have been inputted.
Make sure that you check in for your events well before 30 minutes prior. If you do not check in for your event in time, your spot will be given to an alternate and there’s nothing that your coaches can or will do for you about it. It’s on you to check in and to do so in a timely (early) manner!!
If you are an alternate for an event, you must show up to the meet early and check in so that they know you are available to jump in. If enough people ahead of you scratch from the event on the day (or they do not check in in time) then you will be granted participation in the event. You must be near the check-in area before the event so that you can find out whether or not you get a spot. Nobody is going to come and find you and tell you, so be on top of this!
