The Lynbrook Invitational is this Thursday! The meet sheet is posted (I am sorry this is late; can I get a note from Angela Duckworth?). This meet is a lot of fun–a fast, flat race to tune up our racing before SCVALs next week. The race also is an unofficial FUHSD championship. It’s a good time!
Runners need to arrange their own transportation–though Lynbrook is so close you could run there for warm up / warm down!* We are released at 2 pm but you can arrange your transportation to miss as little school as possible, as long as you are there an hour before your race so you can warm up with your running partners.
After the last race, we are invited to take part in Lynbrook’s senior night presentation; Abhi, Brandon, Darren, and Ethan will have their names announced along with the Lynbrook runners. Please stay for them! You would like the sophomores and freshmen to be there for you when you are a senior, too.
