The photos from the MVXC “Media Day” on October 2 are now posted. John Ling, who photographs many of the athletic teams at Monta Vista, did a great job once again. These are all free to download and use as you wish–post, print, whatever you want. Be creative!

Photos can be so useful in helping to preserve and recall some happy moments, events, and people. The business of our lives, and simply moving on to a different project or priority, means that we don’t maintain the same intensity of feelings–even about something that might mean a lot to us, such as our cross country team. But something like a good photo can bring that back. Sometimes looking at a photo can help us recall and appreciate our positive experiences, we can look back at this season with a little joy and some wonder that we found this team. Taking moments to remember this season doesn’t just make just make our happiness and positive feelings last, thinking bank and savoring our memories can kick our happiness up a notch.
