The Roughrider Invitational meet sheet is posted.
This is the first time that MVXC has competed at Roughrider in more than a decade–your current coaches have never taken a team to this meet. We are going to give everyone a chance to compete at least once on the Woodward Park course used for the California State Championship Meet. You can feel what the course is like for yourself, and imagine what it would be like to run with German Fernandez or Jordan Hassan or Deena Drossin or Sara Bei or Triya Roy. This course has so much history–and you have earned the right to get on the trails and put up your own personal record.
Please let your teachers know you will be missing class on Friday. It’s polite, and smart. Make sure you have all the assignments in advance–you will be on the bus for six hours and you can bang out a lot of homework!
