We are handing out uniforms tomorrow (Tuesday) and they’re new! MV is so fortunate that the school purchased new uniforms for the Track and Cross-Country team this year. In previous years the school and mostly Boosters purchased uniforms, jackets, pants, bags, tents, stationary bikes, etc. Make sure your parents are supporting Boosters so we can continue to get their support and funding.

These uniforms are the same as college uniforms, and labeled with custom MV logos. Track and Cross-Country both use these uniforms, which is why the school agreed to fund so many uniforms–we are supporting two teams. It is important to your track and cross coaches that these are sports that you can participate in without having to purchase your uniforms.  Many schools require you to buy your own uniforms. The price can be as much as $250 but we want this sport to be available for all, so the school/Boosters as funded Track and Cross Country.

SPECIAL NOTE:
  1. Check ALL pieces of your uniform to make sure there is no damage so we can swap items OR you’ll be charged for the damaged item when returned.  At the end of the season, please don’t say it was like that when you got it–tell us now!  We can swap it out for an undamaged item or note that the damage was there before you wore it.  We’ll try to repair it if we can, too.
  2. If you TAKE someone else’s uniform (ie. Jacket, pants, etc) and turn it in at the end of the seasonyou will be charged for losing that item and the other person will get credit for you finding their uniform. Please keep the uniform you were issued!
  3. ID your bags– All the bags look the same!  Put some bright colored ribbon or something so you can easily identify your bag. When they are all together, they all look the same. It is easy to grab the wrong one. You’ll soon see!
CARE SUGGESTIONS:
  • ZIP UP both Jacket and Pants before washing
  • Wash in COLD WATER
  • Hang DRY or LOW HEAT in DRYER
  • PLEASE don’t remove the white information tags– we marked those so we can tell girls and boys items apart.
  • Pull your lane tag stickers off the uniform before washing, or you will have a mess!  Please contact Mrs. Flatow for her secret method of trying to fix that problem.

Any questions about uniforms, please ask your coaches. Let’s have a good week everyone!
