OK, team…so I just got information that we will be getting almost all of our paperwork done electronically this Fall! This is great news as this should simplify the process of getting us started. Almost everything can be done electronically! Much less paperwork for all of us!
I have not been able to meet with the school to ask some questions but here is my understanding of what you and your parents need to do:
- You still need to see your doctor and have the two physical forms (Part 1 and Part 2) signed by an MD. (See the other announcement.) You must turn those papers in to me, complete and signed off, on the first day of practice. That is all the paperwork that you need to physically hand to me!
- Your parents go to the Monta Vista Boosters web page and join on line. Please do this right away, this is how our sport is funded. (If your parents prefer to pay by check, they can print out this form and you return the form and the check to me. But it is less paperwork and you won’t lose the check if we join on line.)
- Your parents then go to https://montavista.8to18.com (no www.) Your parents must do this, not you. Instructions on how to use this system are available here and on the download below this post. If they have any questions, they can email Mr. Bonacorsi at the email on the information sheet.
While this is the first time we do this, it seems like this will be a lot simpler and save us making many errors. I am really excited about switching to this system this should make it easier for all of us! I can’t thank the school enough for putting this system in place.
Please pass this information on to your parents right away!
