The 2014 MVXC team has written their names all over the all-time Monta Vista record book, and we have finally got all the records posted! Check out all the new names that have been added…
By the way, I’ve always admired the way that Hank Lawson and Lynbrook have huge lists of almost every all-time school record imaginable, top 100 Lynbrook freshmen at Crystal etc…when I took over all we had was the top 10 times at a few courses (for track it was even less, the top time only). If anyone ever wants to do the research, there is a lot of data on-line at the Lynbrook site. You don’t have to do it all, you could just decide to do one thing, like try to figure out Monta Vista’s all-time top 50 times for the 3200m, or at Crystal, or whatever. Slowly we could get everything built up. You figure it out and I’ll add it to the site (and maintain it, too). It’s kind of tedious–I take that back, it is VERY tedious–but would be cool for us to have!
In the meantime…congratulations to everyone on the Monta Vista record book! Your names are now inscribed in photons, and inzeros and ones, for all eternity–or for as long as I keep paying the web hosting fees 🙂
