Last Saturday Monta Vista had our last meet before the championship season begins, at the Serra High School Top 7 meet in San Mateo…and our kids look like they are getting into championship form!
Despite the wind which slowed down several races, we had several nice PRs, including: Donald Swen in the 110m hurdles, Bridget Gottlieb, Maddie Yip and Isabelle Ju in the 1600m, Rohan Choudhury, Julia Chang, Bennett Zhang and Paru Meyyappan in the 3200m. In addition, Emma Seyer took medals in the shot and the discus while extending her own Monta Vista record in the shot! Donald, Rohan, Julia, Paru, Emma, and also Jenny Xu, and Kelly Bishop took home medals.
