The one remaining blank spot on the cross country schedule has been filled, we have a date for the Central Park Invitational–we are set for Tuesday, September 27, at Central Park in Santa Clara. Central Park was not held last year due to construction on the site; it’s a flat, fast course and a good place for an early season run. Kevin Bishop (yes, Kelly’s big brother) (MV’12) and Jenny Xu (that’s right, Jeffrey’s older sister) (MV’15) hold the Monta Vista all-time records on the course.
I updated the schedule and it can be downloaded below–though remember there is only the one change so you could hand-write that date in and save the paper!
There will probably be future changes to the schedule. The Santa Clara city can change things around, and right now Toro Park is being used as a fire-fighting staging area. So pay attention for announcements and keep your parents updated. Don’t worry, we will have plenty of races!

PS Did you see Jenny Simpson’s race in the Olympic 1500? Awesome! First US Olympic medal ever in the women’s 1500. And it couldn’t happen to a nicer young lady.
