Monday February 23: Training Shirt Orders Close

Friday February 27: The Second Annual Monta Vista 400 Shoot-Out!
At practice on Friday, Hank Lawson will come and automatically time us as every Monta Vista athlete will run a timed 400m run! The 400m is one of the transition races between sprints and distance (along with the 800m), and a good place for everyone to meet and compare times. We will cheer on our teammates and see what we can do with a one-lapper! Everyone will run!
Monday March 2: Uniforms
We will be issuing uniforms to everyone who has their paperwork complete.
Tuesday March 3: Touch Olympic Gold
Stephanie Brown Trafton, 2008 Olympic Gold Medal winner and United States all-time record holder in the discus, will come talk to the team about winning attitudes. Steph is a really cool individual! We will meet in the student union/cafeteria at 3:20pm for the talk, then head to practice.
Friday March 6: Team Photos!
Wear the uniforms your were issued on Monday, for our photos on Friday! Ezra Gordon, photographer to the stars, will be taking our photos again. In addition to free downloadable photos, Ezra will stick around to photograph you individually or in groups with your friends. It’s fun and these are great photos! DON’T FORGET YOUR UNIFORM!
